Myola is a nice and quiet, one-street village on the beautful Jervis Bay. Here is where the roads ends and the Currambene Creek flows into the bay. The place is surrounded by beautiful bush. The bay and the creek are fantastic places for all sorts of watersport activities. You can swim, fish, sail or surf as much as you like. And the bay is safe for children. A nice stroll through the bush brings you to the kilometres long beaches of the bay.
Like everywhere in the region, the swimming and fishing are excellent at Currarong. Abrahams Bosom Reserve features a natural rock pool, creek, scenic walking tracks and picnic facilities. Point Perpendicular Lighthouse is nearby, as is beautiful Honeymoon Bay.
Located 22 kilometres south-east of Nowra and with a well-established infrastructure for holiday-makers it offers good swimming, surfing, fishing and prawning. A wide range of accommodation is available, and there are licensed restaurants, a club, cafes and shops.
15 kilometres east of Nowra, Greenwell Point is one of the leading seafood ports in the Shoalhaven. You’ll find oyster farms and fresh fish readily available.
